Mingru (Daniel) Yan

Mingru (Daniel) Yan is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1998) and a master’s degree from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2007). Daniel worked as a massage therapist at Guang’anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, where he treated a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal issues and degenerative diseases, managing over 60,000 outpatient visits from 2007 to 2015.
In 2008, Daniel served as a physical therapist during the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics. After immigrating to Canada, he obtained certification as a registered massage therapist. Daniel combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with Tuina massage and integrates therapies such as moxibustion, cupping, and Guasha. He specializes in treating muscle tension, chronic pain, and postural dysfunctions, tailoring his approach to each client’s needs.
