Vanna C.

Registered Reflexology Practitioner,
Reiki Master

Vanna C. received her reflexology certification through the Holistic Practitioner program at Centennial College in 2008. She specializes in foot reflexology and is a long-time member of the RRCO (Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario), as well as the ICR (International Council of Reflexologists).

She also holds a BA With Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University with a major in Psychology, a diploma from Palouse Mindfulness in Mindfulness Based Stress Reductions, and in early 2018 Vanna completed her Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher certifications.

In her twenties, Vanna lived a lot of her life out of a backpack, exploring the world and
travelling through North America, Europe, and Oceania. Along the way she ate some very
strange things (chicken feet, kangaroo tail, goat soap, haggis, crocodile steak and witchetty grubs to name a few), and had some great adventures like swimming with wild dolphins, sharks, manta rays and crocs (not the shoes!). She’s learned to surf, windsurf, parasail, abseil, ski and snowboard. She’s jumped out of a perfectly good airplane, jumped off some perfectly good cliffs, become a Zorbonaut, and licked an ant’s behind (it’s really a thing!) amongst other life adventures. In her thirties Vanna finally achieved a childhood dream and learned how to ride a motorcycle. In 2019 she helped organize and lead the Women Riders World Relay as it travelled through Canada on its way around the world, helping to unite global a community of over 20,000 women riders from over 80 countries in the world’s largest every motorcycle relay. A personal injury on Christmas Eve 2015 found Vanna in a leg brace for much of 2016, followed
by a lengthy stint of physical rehab.

Throughout her recovery Vanna saw two physical therapist
– one assigned by the hospital, and the other a private physical therapist. During this time, watching as so many patients grappled to regain control of their bodies and manage the pain and struggles that come with injury, Vanna witnessed the difference a caring, dedicated, and passionate therapist can make in a person’s recovery. She found herself guided by a strong calling to bring her skills and healing touch to others on a full-time basis, and she took the bold leap to change careers to become a full time Complementary and Alternative Healthcare Therapist. Since then it has been truly a gift to bring healing to so many others.

In her personal time Vanna practices Reiki and meditation, and enjoys travelling, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her family and two crazy cats.
